All paints have three main parts: solvent, pigment, and binder. When the paint dries, the solvent goes away, leaving behind the pigment and binder, which make up the solid part of the paint. The more solids in the paint, the better it covers and protects your walls.
Cheaper paints have fewer solids, so they don't cover as well. That means you might need to use more coats to get the same coverage. That's why we don't use cheap paints for our work.
We suggest these paint brands:
- Farrow & Ball
- Little Greene
- Dulux trade
- Crown
